Bethenny Frankel Is Running The Press Show For ‘RHONY?’

Bethenny Frankel is reportedly taking over The Real Housewives of New York City season seven.

“We all thought it was season seven of the show, but apparently it is ‘Bethenny’s return’ season,” a production source told Confidenti@l on March 6.

“Everyone has been asking for the promotion schedule for the show, where the ladies go to talk about the new season, what talk shows, radio and print interviews have been scheduled. But so far they’ve gotten silence.”

A second source claimed Bethenny Frankel’s Real Housewives of New York City co-stars, including Ramona Singer, LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Kristen Taekman, Heather Thomson, Carole Radziwill and Dorinda Medley, feel the majority of publications want nothing to do with them, unless they have Frankel at their side.

In addition, the shows that do are only interested in speaking to the other Real Housewives of New York City stars because Bethenny Frankel gave them a snub.

“The shows Bethenny refuses to do will be handed out to the rest of the ladies, like leftovers. Bethenny is practically running the press campaign. If they want her to promote the show, then they have to play by her rules. She doesn’t want to appear with the new ladies she has just met, but has agreed to do press with LuAnn (de Lesseps) and Ramona (Singer).”

Bethenny Frankel even caused a stir with the release of the official trailer for The Real Housewives of New York City, when Extra TV aired the Bravo clip with the headline, “Bethenny’s back.”

“How do you think that made the rest of them feel? And yes, they complained.”

Bethenny Frankel appeared on the Bravo reality show for the series’ first three seasons before moving on to her own show, Bethenny Getting Married, which was later renamed, Bethenny Ever After. On the spinoff, Frankel took fans into the professional and personal life of herself and her then-husband, Jason Hoppy.

After three seasons, Bethenny Frankel quit the series.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Bethenny Frankel is also busy promoting her new book, I Suck At Relationships So You Don’t Have To.

In a blog post last month, Bethenny Frankel revealed she’d be releasing the book in April — on the same day that The Real Housewives of New York City‘s seventh season premieres.

For more Bethenny Frankel, tune into The Real Housewives of New York City season seven premiere on Bravo on April 7 at 9 p.m.
