Bethenny Frankel Speaks Out: Does The Business Mogul Have Pot Products Lined Up?
Bethenny Frankel is a business mogul who had a great idea a few years back. She wanted a low-calorie alcoholic drink, so she could enjoy her favorite margaritas without being concerned about her calorie intake. Thus, Bethenny developed Skinnygirl Cocktails, which was such a big hit that Jim Beam offered her millions to buy the company.
Since then, Bethenny Frankel has been working on developing her brand, which is still Skinnygirl. Frankel has offered several products under that name, including healthy snack bars and yoga clothes. But these days, Frankel’s name is being coming up repeatedly, as she is rumored to be dabbling in something that could ruin the brand she has built.
According to a new TMZ report, Bethenny Frankel is supposedly considering entering the pot business. Several news outlets are reporting that Frankel wants to start selling pot as part of her brand, and offer a kind that does not give you the munchies.
This rumor began when Bethenny was spotted leaving a pot store in Aspen, Colorado, where pot can be bought legally. Frankel visited the famous Green Dragon Dispensary in Aspen as she was vacationing in the mountains last month. And Bethenny didn’t hold back on her journey to the store back then, as she was quickly sharing her thoughts on Twitter.
“OMG it’s the craziest thing to see marijuana legal in Aspen. People walking into pot stores like it’s the @Gap #prohibitiondone” Frankel tweeted at the time she was in Aspen, but her tweet appeared to show more shock and awe than potential inspiration.
But just this week, a follower decided to ask Bethenny Frankel about her upcoming projects and products for her business, and surprisingly, pot was not part of the line-up.
“Skinnygirl Daily & mic popcorn, salad dressings, candy, coffee to come! #skinnygirlbusy,” Frankel replied to the follower.
It is very possible that Bethenny Frankel will not include pot in her list of upcoming products, as this could severely change the way people see her company. It is supposed to be a company that promotes a healthy lifestyle and proper eating. Smoking pot may not work well as a midday snack.
In addition, Frankel has decided to return to The Real Housewives of New York, and one can imagine that she will use this to market her products. There had been rumors that she was quitting the show, according to the Inquisitr, but Bethenny has not expressed such decisions on Twitter.
