Cleveland Bullying Video: Bully Beats Up Teen And His Younger Brother, Gets Arrested

A video of a bully in Cleveland beating up two teenage brothers elicited rage across the internet, and now has reportedly led to charges against the attacker.

The video (be warned, it can be disturbing) first showed up on Monday, showing a tall bully following a teen in the Cleveland Heights neighborhood of the city. Though the victim tried to walk away from the conflict and made it clear he wanted no part of the fight, the bully pushed him several times and was eventually able to pull the victim into an alley and began beating him.

The victim tried fighting back, but was laid out with a hard punch to the head and sent sprawling to the pavement. The victim’s much smaller brother then jumped in, squaring off against the bully despite a massive difference in both height and weight. After fighting off the bully for a few seconds, the attacker gained the upper hand and slammed the younger boy to the ground before yelling at both of them and leaving the alley.

The Cleveland bully beating video was posted to the link-sharing site Reddit on Tuesday, and led to an immediate backlash. Several users posted a link to a Cleveland news station, and within hours the site followed through with and update — the Cleveland bully had been arrested.

“Police could not confirm the exact date of the incident, but did confirm it happened recently.

“Police could not provide any further details at this time.”

It is not clear just how recent the Cleveland bullying video might be. It is at least more than a few days old, as the teens were seen wearing short-sleeved shirts and light jackets, but temperatures for the last week in Cleveland have been in the 30s and 40s. It could have been taken early last week, when a two-day warm spell hit the city and brought temperatures in the mid-60s.

Neither police nor News Channel 5 had identified the suspect in the Cleveland bullying video, and the conditions of the victims were not known.
