Linkin Park Presents 3D Figurines Of Themselves And Fans During ‘Carnivores’ Tour

Linkin Park is way ahead in the game when it comes to keeping their fans happy and connected to the band with new and unusual promotions and experiences.

According to 3D Print, Linkin Park decided to support 3D printing technology and connect with fans at the same time by offering figurines of themselves made by state-of-the-art 3D printers.

Linkin Park partnered with German company Staramba in order to make the figurines available for purchase to the fans. Last June, each band member was scanned in Berlin to make the layered 3D figurines out of high-quality polymer clay in full color.

Linkin Park fans will be able to purchase 3D figurines of the whole band or individual band members.

Fans have a choice of Linkin Park printed collectibles, including the six individual band members: Mike Shinoda, Chester Bennington, Rob Bourdon, Brad Delson, Dave Farrell, and Joe Hahn. The figurines vary in size and price to reach a wider audience, and no one has to be present at any of the tour stops to order them.

According to 3D Print, the largest figurines are 1:5 scale. Each band member is 15 inches tall and weighs about 30 ounces. These mini replicas will cost $499 each, and they are hand numbered in limited quantities.

For people who still want a mini version of a band member but can’t afford to pitch in $500 for their favorite Linkin Park member, smaller 1:10 scale replicas are available at a cheaper price. They weigh about 5.5 ounces and are 7.5 inches tall. These smaller Linkin Park figures cost $149 a piece.

If you still can’t decide which figurine you want, then you can buy the whole band on a 1:20 scale for $295.

That’s not the best part, though.

According to Loudwire, Staramba has provided a photogrammatic body scan machine so fans can get a scan of themselves at the Linkin Park tour stops. For the right price, any lucky fan can pick a Linkin Park band member figurine and get one of themselves made, too. If a fan chooses to stay out of the limelight without getting a body scan done, they can simply buy the 3D printed band at the tour stops or order online.

These are just a few of the unique ways in which Linkin Park has delivered to connect with their loyal fans during their 18 years in the music business, and fans are looking forward to owning their very own one-of-a-kind Linkin Park figurines and a piece of the band’s history.
