Obama Power Struggle? President Plans To Make Power Companies Disaster-Proof

Is it a solution, or is it simply Obama Power?

President Obama has announced plans to make power companies disaster-proof, and if you really think about it, he will probably just make things worse. The idea is to plan ahead for climate change problems like drought and tornadoes, so when these things happen, power companies will be able to quickly recover.

Technically it’s like Obamacare, except instead of promising health insurance that doctors across the U.S. don’t accept, we will probably see power outages combined with higher utility bills. You always wanted to pay more for your electricity just in case you lose it in a severe storm, didn’t you?

This is a horrifying possibility after what Obama planned to do with coal power companies and other environmentally “unsafe” practices. He had planned to bankrupt every power company that didn’t supply clean power by charging hefty fees for pollution. This effectively eliminates 40 percent of America’s energy, and forces some electric bills to possibly double or even triple.

Am I jumping to conclusions about the Obama power plan? I wish I was. The President had stated back in January of 2008:

“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them, because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted”

I thought the U.S. and worldwide economy was struggling enough the way it is, but thanks to Obama’s plan to eliminate all potential environmentally “unfriendly” types of power, it’s going to get worse.

For many Americans who are already being forced to decide between eating that week or paying their electric bill to keep the refrigerator running, this is likely to unleash another sarcastic round of “thanks, Obama!”

President Obama has started the initiative which will force the Department of Agriculture to dedicate over $200 million toward ensuring that floods and earthquakes won’t put extra strain on clean power companies.

Seeing the way money is distributed in this country, with the one percent controlling an uncomfortable amount of the wealth, I can only see those millions of U.S. dollars being spent on mansion renovations and restocking wine cellars, and maybe five percent actually going toward its intended goal. The people with the power will get even more wealthy under the new Obama power plan, while the poor still struggle to power their homes.

I seriously doubt throwing all of that money around among the wealthy is going to improve the lives of anyone already depending on Obamacare, or even curb harmful emissions. President Obama is going to destroy this country, and now he’s doing it in the name of the environment.
