Incredible Luck — Or Something Else? Watch As Couple Comes Inches From Death By Flying Rock
A startling YouTube video posted last Monday shows what is either a case of absolutely incredible luck — or maybe divine intervention. Check it out and decide for yourself. Here’s a little background.
The video was taken in the Czech Republic, at the recent controlled demolition of a textile mill owned by OP Prostejov, a Czech apparel manufacturer. As usually happens when people know that things are going to blow up, a crowd gathered to watch the building get leveled in a cloud of dust.
Now, we’re not sure what the regulations are in the Czech Republic concerning how far back a gathering of spectators must be kept from a building demolition site. For all we know, there are no such regulations. In any case, the couple in this video appears to be standing a considerable distance from the demolition site.
Therefore, it is safe to say that they never expected a flying rock to come whistling just a hair’s breadth from their heads — a rock that if its trajectory had been just inches different, would have killed one or both of them instantly, and not in a pretty way.
What’s even more amazing about the video, is the couple’s blasé reaction to their near-decapitation. They don’t even turn around. The guy takes a second to check on his girlfriend, sees she’s okay — after he has just dodged the flying rock himself — then goes right back to watching the cloud of dust rise from the demolished factory.
