Nina Dobrev Goes Blonde! Well, Sort Of…

Nina Dobrev, known for her starring role in the CW’s hit series, The Vampire Diaries, has decided to try a little something different with her hair, and instead of following the pixie cut trend, she’s decided to give blonde a try!

According to US Weekly, Nina Dobrev showed off her new blonde locks while at the CW Upfronts in New York City on Thursday, May 15, 2014. Of course, Nina didn’t do a drastic, total blonde makeover, instead opting for “dramatic blonde ombre highlights,” according to US.

Is blonde the new tend for Hollywood’s stars? I wouldn’t go that far, but previous reports by The Inquisitr have featured a few well-known names that have followed along in the pixie hair trend. In a previous report, The Inquisitr stated that Jennifer Lawrence, along with Pamela Anderson, Jennifer Aniston, Kristin Chenoweth, and Jennifer Hudson all decided to give the pixie cut a try.

Some fans of the hit show The Vampire Diaries may be a little shocked at Dobrev’s new hair style, but in the photos that have surfaced, Nina seems to be rocking her new do! Just check out some of these pictures of her showing off her new hair-do along with a fabulous Alberta Ferretti jacket and skirt, according to Hollywood Life.

Quite a looker, that Nina is! It would seem like the little Nina many of us knew from the hit show Degrassi: The Next Generation has grown up and while many are hating the fact that she added blonde to her famous dark brown locks, many of her fans are loving it.
