WWE Rumors: Updated Card For ‘Roadblock’ And Rumored Matches — Brock Lesnar Could Be In Trouble

There is less than a month until WrestleMania 32 , and the build-up continues, but WWE only has three matches confirmed and in place. That being said, there is still another big event happening before WrestleMania, the WWE Network live special Roadblock on March 12. While this is huge, it is just coming at a strange time. The card is shaping up, and that’s also spelling out some bad news for Brock Lesnar as he prepares for his match with Bray Wyatt.

It is quite odd that this event is taking place just three weeks prior to WrestleMania 32, and the build for it is coming to a bit of a screeching halt. Roadblock is going to be live on the WWE Network on Saturday and it will clock in at around two-and-a-half hours.

So yeah, that’s just short of a normal WWE pay-per-view, and that means it is no small deal.

Either way, one of the matches taking place on the card is one that many thought would be happening at WrestleMania 32. All of it was supposed to really come together at Fastlane in February, but it never did. Still, it could bring big trouble for Brock Lesnar.

Bray Wyatt stepping in the ring means that Lesnar will have a huge challenge before his No Holds Barred Street Fight against Dean Ambrose on April 3. It’s unlikely that this will be a squash for Lesnar as he’s done on WWE Network specials in the past, but that is unless WWE wants to continue to bury The Wyatt Family.

There is talk that Lesnar and Ambrose’s street fight could end up being for the WWE Title if Roman Reigns doesn’t recover from surgery in enough time. If that happens, it means this match against Bray Wyatt could be even more important as he probably won’t be alone.

Even though Paul Heyman will be with Lesnar, it is expected that The Wyatt Family will be close by for Bray. Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan won’t be there, as they’re scheduled for a WWE Live Event on that same night, but Luke Harper won’t be far away.

Speaking of Ambrose, it is confirmed that he will be taking on Triple H at Roadblock, and it will be for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Cageside Seats believes that this match was scheduled to appease the fans who wanted it at WrestleMania 32 and didn’t get it.

While it’s odd that there would be a WWE Title feud within a WWE Title feud and leading up to WrestleMania 32, the result may not be totally predictable.

As previously reported by Inquisitr, there appears to be some concerns on whether Roman Reigns will recover from surgery in time for WrestleMania 32. If he can’t, there are rumors that Triple H will drop the belt to Dean Ambrose at Roadblock and make the Street Fight for the title.

With those two matches, there is one more already confirmed and it was a rather unexpected one.

It’s been building in NXT, and now Enzo Amore and Big Cass are getting a Tag Title shot against The Revival and it will be on a big stage. Dash and Dawson have dominated the NXT tag ranks for a while now, and it seems as if Enzo and Cass may finally get their big break.

This one may end up with the tag champs retaining the belts and possibly a rematch at NXT Takeover: Dallas on WrestleMania 32 weekend.

Chris Jericho is expected to have an edition of The Highlight Reel as well.

As of now, these are the only matches confirmed and in place for Roadblock. A match between Sheamus and Roman Reigns had been rumored, but it doesn’t seem like that one is going to happen considering his recent injury and surgery.

Right now, it’s also known that a number of other superstars will be in Atlantic City that evening for the other WWE Live Event: Big Show, Kevin Owens, Kalisto, Rusev, Alberto Del Rio, Ryback, Kane, Becky Lynch, Charlotte, Braun Strowman, Erick Rowan, and more.

It’s likely that at least two or three more matches will be added to the Roadblock card, and WWE will do that this week. Brock Lesnar’s match with Bray Wyatt will be an interesting one as will the WWE Title match, but there is plenty that could happen before WrestleMania 32.
