WWE Rumors: The Undertaker Has Spoken On His WWE Future — Will He Be At ‘WrestleMania 33’ In Orlando?

Last month, The Undertaker was scheduled for the post- WrestleMania tour of Europe with WWE, but he stayed home and was pulled from all events. Now, there are no upcoming events with him on the card and it’s not known when he will show his face again. The thing is, there is actually a rumor going around now that The Undertaker will never be on WWE television again even though Vince McMahon believes differently.
For years, The Undertaker has appeared in a very limited capacity for WWE with his one confirmed date always being WrestleMania. In 2015, he wrestled at four pay-per-view events, and it was the most work he had done in quite some time.
At WrestleMania 32, he defeated Shane McMahon in a Hell in the Cell match, and the stipulation was that if he had lost, he could never wrestle at the big event again. That door has been left open with his victory, but does it even matter?
After his match at WrestleMania 32, The Undertaker took his gloves off and casually laid them in the center of the ring in quite a symbolic fashion. It almost appeared as if he was saying that he was done and that he had just wrestled his last big event or match.
He also was reportedly telling people backstage at WrestleMania 32 that he had wrestled his last match. The weird part about all of this is that he was indeed scheduled for WWE’s European tour in April and he was set to be at five events, but he pulled out of it due to the recent terrorist attacks.
It’s just odd that he would be scheduled and ready to perform on the WWE’s tour of Europe if he was done wrestling and ready to retire.
The Undertaker reportedly doesn’t want a retirement match and doesn’t want a big send-off in any way, shape, or form. When he’s done, he just wants to be done. The Undertaker isn’t looking for it to be a big ordeal when he’s ready to retire and doesn’t want a long, drawn-out storyline heading up to it.
In April, the WWE website had posted a video that detailed the top five things they want to see at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando. One of those things was a big “Legend vs. Legend ” match between The Undertaker and John Cena. This is the match that was reportedly set to happen this year, but then Cena suffered his injury and that was scrapped.
It is indeed quite possible that The Undertaker has wrestled his last match and been seen for the very last time on WWE television. Vince McMahon thinks differently, but there will probably be no true word one way or the other until at least January.
The Undertaker has said a number of times in the past that he was totally done wrestling and wouldn’t be coming back to perform ever again. Obviously, those times ended up being completely untrue or he merely changed his mind. Now, he’s reportedly saying once again that he’s done and he won’t step another foot in a ring. Vince McMahon thinks differently though and that he’ll have the Deadman in a match at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, but only time will tell.
