Triple H and Stephanie McMahon may no longer be in charge within the ring as performers, but they are going to put The Authority into shape… just not literally.
In a related report by the Inquisitr, when CM Punk made his recent comments about the WWE, the story claimed that V ince McMahon, Triple H, and Stephanie were furious. The three held a closed door meeting and it’s said that wrestlers felt the tension in the air and were essentially walking on eggshells in order to prevent any outbursts from the bosses.
Yes, while the characters called The Authority have been given the boot officially, the husband and wife duo still remain the authority when it comes to matters that count within the WWE business. When Vince McMahon proposed the Team Cena versus Team Authority deal he told Triple H and Stephanie McMahon that they would be resigned to wrestling a desk back at the office. Only John Cena has the ability to bring The Authority back to power, and so far WWE creative has not given him a very, very good reason to want to do that.
Of course, Paul Levesque and Stephanie are still managing the company from the backstage, although apparently they are trying to fill in some of that spare time by taking on new roles. In that regard, Stephanie McMahon has been appointed Editorial Advisor to Shape magazine, and Triple H has been appointed Editorial Advisor to Muscle & Fitness magazine.
“It is an honor to join the team at Shape ,” said Stephanie. “This role provides me with the ability to connect with women from all walks of life and share my passion for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle.”
The WWE officials will be offering their opinions as consultants to the editorial staff of the two magazines when it comes to topics like health and fitness. According to Triple H, his own approach to topics have changed over the years, and it’s likely his opinions may make their way online and to print.
“My approach to fitness training has evolved since my days as a young athlete, and today, I’m in the best shape of my life,” said Triple H. “I share my knowledge and experience regularly as the executive in charge of WWE Talent and look forward to doing the same for the readers of Muscle & Fitness .”
