There have been numerous speculation about the main cause of Whitney Houston’s death for weeks since the singer passed on February 11th.

According to the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner’s report the singer died of drowning, atherosclerotic heart disease, and use of cocaine.

With all of these reasons for cause of death, the corner has ruled that the pop star’s death was accidental, and that there was no trauma or foul play involved in Whitney’s passing, as insisted by Bobby Brown’s sister when she told reporters that, “she did not pass away just like that.”

On February 13th, the family of Whitney Houston were told that the singer absolutely “did not drown” after an autopsy was given. “There were no visible signs of trauma on the body,” said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner’s office. “We need additional testing.”

Even though several medical prescription bottles were collected from Houston’s Beverly Hilton Hotel room where she passed, it is said that the amount of drugs didn’t seem to be at a high amount, which leaves it unclear whether or not drug abuse was a main factor.

Toxicology reports have also been released and revealed “cocaine and metabolites were identified and were contributory to the death. marijuana, alprazolam (Xanax), cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) and diphenhydramine (Benadryl) were identified but did not contribute to the death.”

These results have been revealed more than a month after the singer’s death.

Are you shocked by the final ruling of Whitney Houston’s death? Did you expect another outcome?
