Elon Musk left the DOGE head position after completing his allowable tenure. The amicable separation from the Trump administration has now turned bitter for Musk as he has made some heavy claims about Trump. The two have been feuding lately and posting on socials.
On Thursday, Musk claimed that Trump’s name was present in the Jeffery Epstein files.
This is the reason that the information was not disclosed to the public. These are the files that contain evidence of multiple criminal and sexual trafficking cases related to Epstein and his associates. Several documents related to the case remain sealed. There are high-profile people who are named in the files, and according to Musk, Trump is on the list.
Now White House has responded to the truth bomb that Musk dropped on Trump. The press secretary Karoline Leavitt released a statement calling it to be an unfortunate episode from Elon. She said he is unhappy about the bill and several policies. Earlier Elon had confirmed his disagreement with the bill.
To musk allegations, Donald Trump has called him CRAZY. He said he is acting up as he asked him to step down from his position. Trump has even threatened him with the cancellation of government contracts. This might be his one way to save on government funding. Trump also states that he took away the electric vehicle mandate that forced everyone to buy EVs. So this may have pushed Musk to act crazy.

In her statement, Karoline Leavitt further clarifies that the President is set to pass historic legislation and make the country great again. This has been the MAGA administration’s goal. So far this has been the only response from the White House and they have not released any other formal statements on the allegation.
The accusation of being a part of Epstein’s case is huge as he was arrested for trafficking minors. He died in his cell after committing suicide. The accused was friends with the President in the 90s. However, the two stopped being close in 2004 over real estate issues.

Trump was asked about Epstein in 2019 when the investigation was ongoing. He responded that he knew him like any other person in Palm Beach and had a falling out long ago. He claimed he hadn’t spoken to him in 15 years and wasn’t his fan at all. Trump has never been accused of being connected to the case or abusing minors.
Musk’s accusation can be a part of their bromance going cold. The two disagreed on the big, beautiful bill.
Musk has made efforts to reduce federal expenditure. However, Trump’s new bill will only increase the federal budget deficit. He said the new bill will undo all of the DOGE department’s efforts.
