This came out of nowhere: People released an exclusive today that Ross McCall and Jennifer Love Hewitt have called off their engagement after dating for more than three years. They had announced their marriage plans in November 2007, right around the time Jennifer had a huge fight with paparazzi over the infamous “full-figured” pics taken while she showed off her new ring.
A source told People that “They broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement. They’re both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them.”
Jennifer had also seemed nerved up for the big day despite not setting a date, saying earlier that “I’m getting ready to turn 30 and get married and all those thing. This year was my year to try to glow from within and feel better.” So sad.
