What Does Taylor Swift’s ‘Squad’ Really Think About Her Calvin Harris Romance?

Things appear to be getting serious for Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris, and it sounds like both Swift’s parents and her all-important “squad” are on board for the couple to take their romance to the next level.

People is reporting that Taylor’s mom and dad “really like” Calvin and also revealed that Harris “spends a lot of time” with the Swift family, including Taylor’s brother, Austin, when he’s not on the road.

According to People’s inside source close to the couple, Calvin and Swift’s brother have grown particularly close during his and Taylor’s year-long romance and even admitted that the two guys actually “get along great” when they’re together.

But it’s not just Taylor’s family who has given the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer their seal of approval in the romance department.

“[Calvin] gets along with her friends,” the site’s source said this week of how Swift’s squad, which includes big names like Selena Gomez, Jaime King, and Karlie Kloss, feels about her blossoming romance with Calvin, noting that “they all like him and there’s no drama.”

People’s Taylor insider also confessed that while Swift is often spotted spending quality time with Calvin on date nights and through their gushing social media posts, Taylor always makes sure she has time for her infamous squad of girlfriends.

“They’re not a couple who are joined at the hip,” a source said, adding that while Swift and Harris “enjoy romantic date nights when they are off,” they both also take time away from each other to spend time with friends.

“Her girlfriends seem very important to Taylor,” the source revealed.

Reports that Calvin has the all-important seal of approval from both Taylor’s friends and family come just days after Hollywood Life claimed that Calvin and Swift see a big walk down the aisle in the future – just not quite yet.

The site reported last week that the loved-up couple have already been talking about marriage and definitely see tying the knot in their future. However, the outlet added that Calvin probably won’t be getting down on one knee for Swift for a little while yet.

“He wants to definitely propose to her, she is his endgame, but it is not going to happen anytime soon,” a Taylor Swift source said, noting that Swift and Harris are looking to spend at least a few more months as boyfriend and girlfriend before things get really serious and they start planning a wedding.

“They have talked marriage but they are not in a rush to get there just yet,” the insider confirmed, adding that Taylor and Calvin “want to date a little longer before they take the next step.”

E! News also speculated that Taylor and her Scottish boyfriend may be exchanging rings somewhere down the line, reporting that Calvin has known for a while that Swift is “the one” after he gifted her a gold locket to celebrate their one-year anniversary earlier this year.

A source close to the couple confessed to the site earlier this month that “Calvin knows that Taylor is the woman for him,” noting that “out of all of Calvin’s relationships, he seems the happiest with Taylor,” which is why the two can’t seem to stop gushing about each other through their recent social media posts.

E! News’ insider even went as far as to reveal that Harris “always says to all of his friends that Taylor is marriage material.”
