Madonna has finally found a distribution company for her directorial effort W.E.
The Weinstein company has agreed to distribute the movie which will be released “sometime in 2011” with a likely November release date since they have some “empty space” available during the month.
The movie takes place in parallel love stories with the first following King Edward VIII and the American divorcee Wallis Simpson, which caused the king to give up the throne of England, while the second story is set in 1998 and follows Wally Winthrop who becomes taken in by the story of Wallis and Edward.
The move stars: Abbie Cornish, Oscar Isaac,James D’Arcy, Andrea Riseborough, Natalie Dormer, Richard Coyle, James Fox, and Laurence Fox.
Hopefully this one isn’t as awful as Madonna’s directorial debut Filth and Wisdom.
