Fans can watch the India vs. Bangladesh cricket match live online and see whether Bangladesh can take advantage of an Indian squad resting up for this summer’s series against England.
India is fielding what many believe to be a “B squad” for the meeting with Bangladesh, giving rest to regular skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma, among others.
The three-match ODI series kicks off Sunday at 1 pm local time (7 am GMT) at Dhaka.
Those who watch the India vs. Bangladesh cricket match live online will see if these Indian players can prove themselves.
India.com noted:
“Robin Uthappa is on a comeback trail and his performance in IPL has put him in race for the ‘half-vacant’ opening slot ahead of 2015 World Cup while Ajinkya Rahane will look to be a regular member of team. Wriddhiman Saha will be out to prove that he is second best after MS Dhoni with the gloves and as a wicketkeeper/batsman as well, a chance for him to cement his place as Dhoni’s second fiddle. Debutants Parvez Rasool, Akshar Patel and Kedhar Jadhav will aim to earn that prized India cap and keep themselves in reckon for future selections.”
For India’s regular players, the ODI series against Bangladesh will be a chance to get back to form. The team endured a long slump earlier in the year, with poor showings in trips to New Zealand and South Africa, but rebounded to reach the T20 final.
