After their quest for 73 was put in peril with two losses in three games to start April, the Warriors got back in track by defeating the next-best team in the Western Conference, the San Antonio Spurs, twice in the final week to put them on the verge of history.
The team will now go for the NBA record on Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies, with tip off at 10:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and will also be available to watch live on the internet (a link to streaming video can be found below).

Stephen Curry, who is in line for his second MVP award in as many years, said his team deserves the spotlight.
“We have an opportunity to do something that no one has done,” Curry said (via SFGate ). “So many great players have suited up, and for us 15 guys to say we’ve accomplished something as a group that’s never been done before, that’s remarkable.”
“We earned the right to have a 48-minute game to eclipse the mark, and we have to go out and finish the job.”
Fans who watch the Golden State Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies live online will almost assuredly see another record be broken. Stephen Curry already has the most three-pointers of all time and has a chance to hit 400 in total if he connects on eight in Wednesday’s game.
CBS Sports noted that the three-point records add more drama to an already exciting game.
“Sunday’s game gave him 392 made 3-pointers on the season, which is an absurd thing to type. That means eight made 3-pointers away from an even, round number of 400 makes from deep this season. He’s mentioned recently that if he gets to 399 3-pointers on the season, he’s going to start chucking for that final make. With his current pace this season, a typical Curry game from downtown would put him at 397.”
The team’s mini-slump at the beginning of April had led to what will be a dramatic last day, with the Warriors going for the record in their last chance on the year.
“It would have been cool to take care of the games we were supposed to take care of and have it already out of the way, but the way this thing has played out to be at home and have one shot it, it’s pretty amazing,” power forward Draymond Green said.
Fans who watch the Warriors going for the NBA record live online will be making a financially prudent decision. Tickets for the game are among the most expensive ever for a regular season game (again, other than Kobe Bryant’s final game), with Vivid Seats finding that the cheapest ones available on Tuesday are going for $328.
