432 Park Avenue in midtown Manhattan became the tallest residential building in the Western Hemisphere today after it poured its final concrete on its highest floor. The penthouse holds some of the most amazing views as a result of the building’s great height. However, the view comes with a hefty price tag. The penthouse is $95 million!
According to the Daily Mail , the building stands at a staggering 1,396 feet and it offers breathtaking views of New York, including Central Park, lower Manhattan, and the Atlantic Ocean. The building was designed by architect Rafael Viñoly. The building is an astounding 96-story condo that offers 104 units. The prices for a unit ranging from $16.95 million to $95 million for the penthouse suite.
For comparison, it towers over the Empire State Building (1,250ft), the Chrysler Building (1,046ft), and the One World Trade Center without its spire (1,368ft).
You don’t have to live in the penthouse to gain access to the spectacular views. Tenants in the building can observe spectacular views from huge 10-foot-by-10-foot windows from a resident-only observation deck and via building telescopes. A stunning view isn’t the only luxury for residents, they can also access climate-controlled wine cellars, an outdoor terrace, a spa, a “massage therapy room,” and a pool.
