A couple expecting their fourth child says that people weren’t quite as receptive to the upcoming birth as they were to their first three children. Therefore, they created an epic pregnancy announcement set to the Miley Cyrus song “We Can’t Stop” to showcase why they don’t care if anyone else is excited or not, because it’s their family and they can do what they want.
The viral pregnancy announcement video features the Chapman family. The Chapmans currently have two 4-year-old twin girls and a 3-year-old son. The family says that with the first and second pregnancy their friends and family were over-the-moon. However, when the couple announced that they were expecting their fourth child, people seemed to lose their excitement. When speaking with Today , mother Andrea notes that no one seemed excited for the new baby.
“Nobody was excited. I think we went past what everyone’s idea for our family was. For some reason, four is like this odd number in our culture today and it’s not celebrated the same way.”
Therefore, the family decided to create a YouTube video that featured all the reasons they are excited and why they could careless if you are happy for them or not. The video, which is set to the tune of the Miley Cyrus hit “We Can’t Stop,” features the whole Chapman family expressing their excitement for the upcoming birth of baby number four.
As Andrea notes in the hilarious lyrics, “It’s my body, I can grow who I want to” and “Can’t you see it’s we who’ll be up all night? Can’t you see it’s we who love this life?” The Chapmans are obviously excited to welcome their fourth baby this August.
