In slightly-bizarre-but-still-sort-of-cool news, IGN’s latest Madden NFL 11 videos reveal that President Obama himself will be appearing in EA’s football game.
The video below shows the cut-scene (complete with treacly commentary from Gus Johnson ) you get for clinching the Super Bowl. Obama isn’t seen until late in the clip, but he’s there alright, congratulating the winning team on the White House lawn. It’s not a bad likeness!
Oh, and the last serving US President to appear in a videogame? I’m pretty sure it was Bill Clinton, who showed up as a playable character in NBA Jam TE (alongside Hillary, natch).
