The Royal family stirred a scandalous truth once again after the late Queen Elizabeth’s second-born son, Prince Andrew, was announced to be stripped of all royal titles. The decision was monumental and rare, coming after his name surfaced among the chief offenders in the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein case. For the unversed, the 65-year-old had already relinquished himself from all royal duties back in 2019, all thanks to his ties with the s– offender Epstein.
More recently, a widely discussed statement from Buckingham Palace confirmed that Andrew will no longer hold the titles of “Prince,” “His Royal Highness,” or “Duke of York.” From now onwards, he will only go by his birth name of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

On behalf of King Charles, the royal family statement against Andrew read as “His Majesty has Today initiated a formal process to remove the style, titles and honors of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.
Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, even though he continues to deny the allegations against him. Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any form of abuse.”
With mounting evidence against him that had been made by one of Epstein’s first victims, Virginia Giuffre, Windsor has already fallen from grace both in the royal household and among the people. Now, with his royal titles stripped, the move has renewed faith in justice for Giuffre’s family, who continued their fight even after she died by suicide in April.
Well, Virginia happened to be one of the most public accusers against Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. She had alleged that the two of them forced her to have s—– relations with Andrew Mountbatten on multiple occasions, and the first time she did was as a minor at the age of 17. With Andrew’s titles getting stripped, Giuffre’s family now expressed their gratitude over this first step of justice being awarded to the late victim.
He was protected and never cooperated with authorities.

In a statement to People Magazine, Virginia’s brother, Sky Roberts, and his wife, Amanda, said, “Today, an ordinary American girl from an ordinary American family brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage. Virginia Roberts Giuffre, our sister, a child when she was s—— assaulted by Andrew, never stopped fighting for accountability for what had happened to her and to countless other survivors like her. Today, she declares victory.”
After Virginia openly accused Andrew of s—— abusing her through his links with Epstein, the former Prince opted for an out-of-court settlement with her in 2022. However, what turned things sour was that through his statement for the settlement, Andrew did not show a shred of apology or even admit guilt, but only expressed regret for his connections with Jeffrey Epstein.
Later on, Virginia’s posthumous memoir titled Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting For Justice’, listed out in detail the repeated offense carried against her by Epstein, his accomplice Maxwell, and even Andrew himself. The memoir was published after Giuffre committed suicide in April, and her tell-all revelations about every moment she spent trapped with Epstein brought chilling details about the case into the light.
Speaking of Andrew, in a shocking interview with the BBC in 2019, he asserted that he had ended all kinds of ties with s– offender Jeffrey Epstein since 2010. However, in January 2025, a legal filing obtained by Bloomberg News claimed that the two had contact through email at least till 2011. These emails further revealed Andrew and Epstein discussing press reports, and the former even claimed that they should ‘keep in close touch’ and ‘play some more soon’.
Through her tell-all memoir, Virginia Giuffre pulled off the mask from Andrew Mountbatten and his offenses against her. She claimed to have had sex with him three times. This was countered by a false assertion by Andrew in 2019, when he alleged not even remembering having met Giuffre in the first place. In fact, Virginia further stated that throughout her meetings with Andrew, he appeared to have a stature that reflected as if it were his birthright to sleep with her.
