Vicki Gunvalson’s boyfriend, Steve Lodge, was nearby when she and her co-stars filmed the reunion special for The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 12 at the end of last week.
Days after filming the special in Los Angeles, Vicki Gunvalson shared a slideshow of photos of herself and her co-stars, including Kelly Dodd, and reunion host Andy Cohen, and the caption of her slideshow, Gunvalson mentioned Lodge and the emotional support he provided her with on the stressful day.
“Thank you for being there for me,” she wrote.
Vicki Gunvalson began dating Steve Lodge in 2016 after splitting from Brooks Ayers several months prior. As the Real Housewives of Orange County fans will recall, Gunvalson’s former boyfriend caused tons of drama between Gunvalson and her co-stars and members of her family due to his ongoing cancer claims.
While Brooks Ayers insisted he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Vicki Gunvalson’s co-stars called him out on inconsistencies in his story and ultimately, the couple called it quits.
Although Vicki Gunvalson’s family wasn’t thrilled, by any means, about her past romance with Brooks Ayers, they appear to be on board with her relationship with Steve Lodge. In fact, Gunvalson’s children, daughter Briana Culberson and son Michael Wolfsmith, seem to be true fans of Lodge and have been spotted spending time with him on numerous occasions in recent months.
Vicki Gunvalson is open to the idea of walking down the aisle with Steve Lodge in the future but despite rumors of an engagement, she and Lodge don’t appear to have any solid plans to wed quite yet. Instead, they are enjoying their time together and spending plenty of time with Gunvalson’s two grandsons, Troy and Owen Culberson.
Vicki Gunvalson was previously married to Donn Gunvalson, who fans saw during the first several seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County .
