The Disneyland attraction Mickey’s Toontown was evacuated on Tuesday evening following an explosion.

Authorities said several of the theme park’s guests were removed from the area after an incident involving dry ice. It’s currently unclear how much damage the explosion caused.

The Los Angeles Times reports that no one was injured as a result of the explosion. However, Sergeant Robert Dunn of the Anaheim Police Department said Toontown was evacuated as a precaution.

The website explained that a bomb squad from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department was on the scene to investigate the problem. However, no further details about the explosion have been officially released as of this writing.

According to the Herald Sun , security officers found a bottle containing dry ice inside a trash can. Police and fire crews immediately responded to the call. Although the dry ice is believed to have played a role in the explosion, it’s unclear if this was accident or intentional.

Disneyland guest Shawna Gonzales said she was near the Toontown attraction when the incident took place.

“Was sitting in Toontown at Disneyland and something exploded in the trash can. I felt the sound waves of it and Toontown is closed,” she tweeted .

A handful of people have post pictures of Toontown as it was being evacuated. Waves of people can be seen moving out of the area. Judging from the image embedded below, it would appear that folks made their way out of the park in an orderly fashion.

Although several news organizations have reached out to the Anaheim Police Department for further comment, no new information is available just yet. This story is still breaking, so details will likely emerge later this evening.
