Tiger Woods might be having a tough time of things recently after putting his one-wood where it shouldn’t be , but there’s a silver lining in the tale: he won’t be losing the hugely lucrative line of videogames that feature his name and likeness.
EA, developer and publisher of the Tiger Woods series, has publicly announced that it will stand by Woods, pointing out that his games make loads of money and probably even more after this sordid little tale, “[EA] respects Tiger’s privacy.” That’s nice of them.
“Our strong relationship with Tiger for more than a decade remains unchanged,” reads EA’s statement on the matter. “We respect Tiger’s privacy, we wish him a fast recovery and we look forward to seeing him back on the golf course.”
