NBC’s hit drama This is Us gave us more heartbreak last night, but the latest This is Us spoilers suggest that the cast and crew are far from done with taking us on a roller coaster ride of emotions. So how much more, really, can our hearts take?

Sterling K. Brown, the actor who plays the adult Randall on the show, recently sat down with Us Weekly to discuss more This is Us spoilers than our poor hearts can take right now. Even though their dad’s “best friend” Miguel is their new step-dad, not all of the kids are happy with their mom (Mandy Moore) taking up with him, though some are taking it better than others.
Sterling said the following.
“You know what? Miguel is cool. I think Randall, Kate and Kevin are cool with Miguel. It’s sort of interesting when your dad’s best friend now becomes your step-parent. I think some of us are more antagonistic towards Miguel than others, and Randall is not the most antagonistic. I can say that much.”
But Sterling K. Brown isn’t the only cast member who’s sharing This is Us spoilers. According to The International Business Times , Justin Hartley — better known as “The Manny” Kevin — is also sharing a lot of details about what’s to come in the upcoming episodes. We’ll recall that, this week, we finally see Kevin mourning the death of his father, and that mourning was a long time coming, to be sure.
During the funeral of a friend, Kevin connected with the young son, and told him that he remembered his father fondly, because they used to build model planes together. However, Kevin also revealed that he lost his father “at a young age,” though he didn’t reveal what, exactly, his father died of. And while it’s obvious that Kevin is happy about the start of his new relationship with his co-star, he still has a lot of unresolved issues about his father that he’s yet to deal with.
Could part of Kevin’s issues with his father have to do with how, precisely, Jack died, and not just when he did so?
And because last night was the last time we’ll see new This is Us episodes before we get a new president (please make the right choice, America), the latest This is Us spoilers are going to have to tie us over for two weeks , according to Vine Report . We’ll recall that last night, we saw how Jack gave up his dreams to become a good father to his children. And while it was shown, at that time, that he had no immediate regrets of doing so, the “dream that died” eventually manifested itself in his alcoholism.
Another thing that came to light last night was a bit of the origin story surrounding the tension between Randall and Kevin, and why there’s animosity that continues to this day. Surely, in the coming weeks, we’ll see exactly how these two brothers got a distance put between them, and how they’ll try to heal that rift going forward.
This is Us will air again in two weeks.
