85-year-old John Bates has just entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the best ever player of the bowling game in Nintendo’s Wii Sports .
Bates has bowled around 2,850 perfect games in the title, which is around 2,850 more perfect games than me. Furthermore, this retired high school principal from Onalaska can do it with either hand .
Bates achieved this feat between April 2009 and October 2010, which is when a friend called in Guinness to verify his achievements. And yes, he bowls for real as well. Mr Bates, sir, my hat is decidedly tipped to you.
