Taylor Halbur and Chelsea Houska are working together against their mutual ex-boyfriend, Adam Lind. During the debut episode of Teen Mom 2 season six last week, Houska discovered her daughter’s father had filed for 50/50 custody of Aubree. Meanwhile, Lind also filed for 50/50 custody of his daughter with Taylor Halbur; Paislee.
In a sneak peek at tonight’s new episode shared by Wetpaint Entertainment on July 16, Taylor Halbur is seen meeting with her lawyer with Houska in tow. Right away, the lawyer is surprised by Lind’s incredibly long legal record.
“When someone’s coming in and has somewhat of a checkered past, I look up their rap sheet. I expect normally to see several pages. I got 27 pages,” Taylor Halbur’s lawyer explained to Houska of Lind’s past.
Taylor Halbur began dating Lind after he split from Houska year ago, and although their relationship never seemed very stable, the couple welcomed a child together in September 2013. Then, in spring 2014, they called it quits for good, and since then, Lind has been linked to at least three other women.
Although Lind has quite the rap sheet, his parents, who are supposed to supervise his visits with Aubree, often allow Lind to watch her unattended.
“They’re doing that. I’m telling them that I have a problem with it, and…they say that they don’t have to listen to that.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Taylor Halbur and Lind recently headed back to court over the custody of their daughter, Paislee. Last month, a source told Radar Online that Lind had filed for more time with Paislee, but said he would likely be denied.
“He wants more time with Paislee and thinks as her father, he deserves that. He is planning to take Taylor to court. Adam has so much legal baggage, it’s unlikely he’ll get custody of Paislee.”
Taylor Halbur and Houska have feuded in the past, but when it comes to the fight for their children, they felt it was best to put their differences aside and work together. Although Lind is reportedly up to date on his child support, at least for Paislee, getting more time with his kids will likely take time. Either way, with the girls now working together, Lind has his work cut out for him, and with a rap sheet like he has, he may be up the creek without a paddle.
