In the latest of many Star Wars: The Old Republic trailers, BioWare tasks you, the viewer, with picking a side. No, not Sith or Jedi – that’s been done into the ground. Instead, you’ll be picking between the Sith Inquisitor and the Republic’s Trooper.
More than anything else, the video is a primer on both classes, with pros and cons relative to the two classes discussed at some length by the developers. It’s not going to tell you everything , but it just may help you get a sense of the playstyle you can expect from each.
Really, it just boils down to this: Do you want to shoot lightning from your hands and wield a dual lightsaber, or do you want to be a beefy Trooper with a ton of potent, long-range gadgets and weapons at his disposal?
