British singer Jessie J is reportedly being sued for copyright infringement over her hit song ‘ Domino .’

The accusation by singer/songwriter Will Loomis that large sections of ‘ Domino ‘ are lifted from Loomis’s 2008 song ‘ Bright Red chords ‘ recorded with his band Loomis and the Lust, has now gone public.

A statement issued by Loomis’ lawyer reads ,

“Mr Loomis never consented to the use of his song. We look forward to obtaining an appropriate remedy from the court for this clear infringement.”

According to Billboard , the lawsuit includes Jessie J and her record labels Universal Music Group, Lava Records and Universal Republic Records as parties in the claim.

A multi-million selling artist and Brit Award winner, Jessie recently appeared as a popular judge on BBC talent show The Voice and will play 13 dates on her first arena tour in February and March 2013.
