Seth Rogen has reason to be doubly excited this week. Not only was his most recent film, 50/50 , very well received by critics – and a respectable performer at the box office – he’s also tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, writer and actress Lauren Miller, according to Us Weekly.
The two reportedly got hitched at a Jewish ceremony, performed by a female Rabbi, “atop a hill surrounded by vineyards” in Sonoma, California. Several high profile guests were reportedly in attendance at Rogen and Miller’s wedding, with names like Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd, Adam Sandler, Craig Robinson, and director Judd Apatow and his family.
“The wedding was more laughs than anything else,” a source told Us Weekly. “Every other line was a joke and the crowd couldn’t contain their laughter. It was nonstop fun!”
Rogen and Miller have been dating in 2004, when they met while working on Da Ali G Show , where Rogen was a writer. Six years later on September of last year, Rogen finally popped the question to Miller – to which she said yes, of course.
“She’d started giving up hope that he would ever pop the question,” a friend of Rogen’s told Life & Style last year. “Her family adores him; everyone is thrilled to plan a wedding.”
In an interview on Conan last November, Rogen opened up about being nervous about the proposal after picking up the ring.
“Literally, I felt like someone had given me like a truckload of heroin to hold onto, I felt like the feds were going to kick in my door at any second,” he said. “I couldn’t have a conversation with my girlfriend. All I could think of was this ring. Like, ‘Don’t say ‘Lord of the Rings!’ Don’t mention anything about a ring!”
