Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is rumored to be dating Pitch Perfect actress Alexis Knapp .
“It’s been going on for a little while. It’s very casual but they are hanging out and he is having fun with her,” a source told E! News of the couple.
“They’ve know each other for three years and have been getting closer for over a year,” but only recently started dating. “They always had good chemistry.”
Knapp lent her voice to MacFarlane’s Family Guy last season for the episode “Valentine’s Day in Quahog.”
“Alexis’ star is on the rise,” the source adds. “He thinks she’s really talented.”
Pitch Perfect is considered Knapp’s breakout role. In it, she played Stacie, a highly sexual member of the Bellas. She has also been seen in Couple’s Retreat , Percy Jackson & the Olympians: Lightning Thief and Project X . She’ll also star in Rebel Wilson’s new sitcom Super Fun Night this fall (at least, the pilot).
She’s also a mom to 2-year-old daughter Kailani with ex-boyfriend Ryan Phillippe.
MacFarlane, meanwhile, was most recently linked to Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke. In March, they ended their casual relationship.
“They are no longer dating,” a source said of the split . “It was really a location challenge. She has been in Europe shooting Game of Thrones and he is based in California, so it was hard to make it work despite the distance.”
