Selena Gomez Releases ‘Trust Nobody’ Music Video As She Prepares For AMA Comeback?

Selena Gomez has been missing in action on social media in the months since she announced the end of her Revival World Tour, but yesterday, November 16, she released a new music video.

On her YouTube page, Selena Gomez shared a teaser clip for “Trust Nobody” with a link to the full version of the music video on Cashmere Cat’s Vevo page.

Hollywood Life revealed the news to readers on November 16 and reminded them that the latest Selena Gomez sighting was back in October, when she was spotted in Tennessee. In October, Selena Gomez was spotted at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Alcoa, Tennessee, where she showed off a new look with shorter hair as she posed for photos and videos with fans.

Selena Gomez announced on August 30 that she would be taking a break from the spotlight and canceling her Revival World Tour due to struggles with her mental health, which she claimed were the result of her Lupus diagnosis.

“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” Selena Gomez explained in her statement. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues.”

Two weeks prior to her announcement, Selena Gomez performed her final Revival World Tour show in Auckland, New Zealand, and embarked on a public feud with her former boyfriend Justin Bieber. As fans of the on and off couple may recall, Selena Gomez called out Bieber for cheating after he threatened to make his account private after fans posted mean comments to his then-flame Sofia Richie. He then suggested she cheated on him with Zayn Malik and deleted his account all together.

In other Selena Gomez news, the singer may be ready to make her musical comeback at the upcoming 2016 American Music Awards.

“Selena [Gomez] wants her first appearance back in front of her fans to be special and so if she does decide to do the appearance at the [ 2016 American Music Awards ], she will want to do it big with perhaps a dazzling performance or a major announcement,” a source told Hollywood Life.

While Selena Gomez and her former boyfriend Justin Bieber have often both attended the event, Gomez won’t be faced with an awkward encounter at next week’s show.

“Selena Gomez is relieved that Justin has tour dates on the night of the AMAs… With Justin unlikely to make an appearance at the show there is less stress surrounding the event for Selena. Even though Selena will always love Justin, it does make things easier for her knowing her ex-boyfriend will likely not be there.”

Selena Gomez has been silent since entering treatment weeks ago, but according to an online rumor, which began during an Ask.fm Q&A, she could be leaving the facility later this week. According to the report, Selena Gomez will reunite with members of her family before returning to Los Angeles where she owns a home.
