There were plenty of celebrities, politicians, and journalists at the White House Correspondence Dinner last weekend, but former Presidential hopeful Rick Santorum was particularly interested in meeting just one; Lindsay Lohan .
Santorum was apparently star struck with the young actress and asked to get a picture of her. Lohan was sitting with Fox News personality Greta Van Susteren when the former GOP candidate approached and asked for a picture. Santorum didn’t want to pose with Lohan, however, he just wanted to snap a photo of Lohan by herself.
Santorum played dumb about the photo after the event but the Associated Press snapped a picture of the two talking at the Dinner.
The photo amused Twitter users who wondered if the Christian politician was allowed to talk to such a scandalous celebrity.
“Rick Swaggart: I wonder how many SS agents hit on Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian… Oh wait just Rick Santorum. Isn’t he a preacher?”
Another wrote:
“The photo of Rick Santorum and Lindsey Lohan talking at Obama’s dinner last night amuses me so much.”
