Sam Hunt Not Taking Andi Dorfman’s Time, ‘That’s Why They’re Called Rumors’

The former bachelorette Andi Dorfman has been single since January when she broke it off with Josh Murray. Although there’s certainly no shame in being single, her devoted fans seemed pretty stoked when the rumor circulated that she may be seeing Sam Hunt after she attended the Country Music Awards this year. Although new to the country music scene, the “Take Your Time” singer has been a big hit with the ladies. Besides his tall, dark, and handsome good looks, he addressed a topic that not many men publicly address: he turned the seemingly “Love vs. hookup” hit “Take Your Time” into a domestic violence awareness video.

In his “Take Your Time” video, a young impoverished woman seems stuck with a violent man until Sam Hunt helps her make her final getaway during a physical altercation. The dark, but meaningful, video would simply add to the appeal of Sam Hunt, who is proving he’s more than a handsome face. Andi Dorfman may think that as well, but what we do know for sure is that she tweeted that there is absolutely no truth to the fact that she and Sam Hunt are dating. Although nobody’s sure how the rumor got started, it started shortly after Dorfman attended the CMAs with her gal pal and former Bachelorette, Nikki Ferrell, earlier this month, according to wetpaint. Monday night, Andi put a firm end to it on Twitter. Andi Dorfman was engaged to Josh Murray, and there were rumors that allegedly she cheated on him, going as far to suggest she cheated with his own brother, Aaron, which Dorfman also denied. Perhaps she’s just had enough of the dating scene for a while, or perhaps she just doesn’t want anybody knowing her personal business after the Murray disaster and the subsequent hurtful rumors that followed, which were no doubt distressing for both Murray and Dorfman.

Regardless, that means there are now two adorable people that are available on the dating scene in Hollywood: Andi Dorfman and Sam Hunt. While it may be some time before Andi is over the failed relationship with Josh, a strong, yet tender, guy like Sam might be just what she needs. Perhaps, at some point, she will reconsider.
