Ryan Edwards Trying To Win Back Ex As Maci Announces Baby News

Ryan Edwards shares a child with Maci Bookout and, ever since she announced that she is pregnant with a second baby with her new boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, fans have wondered what Ryan thinks of the news. Unfortunately, Ryan has never been one to express his feelings on Twitter or any social networking site for that matter, but ever since he and his girlfriend broke up, he has been sharing some depressing thoughts.

Enstars points out that Ryan has been pining for his ex, Shelby Woods, for quite some time. The two were in a stable relationship and appeared happy, but called it quits, allegedly due to Ryan’s cheating. Interestingly, it is the cheating that drove Ryan Edwards and another of his ex-girlfriends, Dalis Connell, apart in the past. Dalis appeared on Teen Mom with Ryan and she famously did not get along with Maci Bookout, but it is unclear if Shelby will appear on the hit MTV show, which is set to come back next year. Not only that, but it is also unclear what kind (if any) relationship Shelby and Maci have. While he hasn’t addressed Maci Bookout’s pregnancy directly on Twitter, he has been hinting that he and Shelby are still not back together.
On 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom, Ryan Edwards tried to make his relationship with Maci work. The two were young and unprepared for the hardships of parenthood and, eventually, they called it quits. The two dated others, but reunited on the MTV special Being Maci and alluded that they may have been trying to give their relationship one more try. Not only that, but photos of the couple out and about also sparked rumors that a reconciliation was in order. However, the two never found their ways back to each other and Maci moved on with Taylor McKinney.
When Maci announced the baby news, she revealed that she is more prepared this time. While she didn’t mention Ryan Edwards specifically, she did give insight into the hardships of their young relationship. The Inquisitir previously reported Maci’s remarks.
“Last time, there was a lot of worry and concern. It was just me and Bentley facing the world together, and I had to figure things out as I went. This time, I’m able to be excited because I’m older and able to give my baby the stability of the relationship that Taylor and I have.”
Ryan Edwards may never speak publicly about Maci’s pregnancy, but fans may get to hear his thoughts on the new season of Teen Mom.
