Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart aren’t the only couple trying to patch up their relationship. The other two parties in this summer’s biggest celebrity scandal, director Rupert Sanders and his estranged wife Liberty Ross , look like they’re trying to work out their problems as well.
Following the “Stewart-Sanders debacle of summer 2012,” as MSN puts it, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have recently made moves to mend their broken relationship. Snow White director Rupert Sanders (the less-famous cheater) and his jilted wife Liberty Ross also seem to be repairing their relationship, despite early reports suggesting that Ross had secured a divorce lawyer and had planned on moving back to the UK .
The two have reportedly been in couples counseling for about a month, with TMZ posting photos of the two leaving such a session in Beverly Hills, California yesterday. The kicker is that the two are shown engaging in (gasp) public displays of affection now.
The 41-year-old director and his 33-year-old model wife embraced and even gave a peck on the cheek, the first showing of affection between the 15-year couple since news of the scandal broke in July.
“Nothing has been filed. It’s still too early to tell what will happen,” a source told Us Weekly shortly after photos were published of his affair. “She is talking to and seeing Rupert now for the kids, but as far as the marriage, she’s still processing everything that happened.”
