After UFC 193, every time that Ronda Rousey steps into the UFC octagon might be her last time. The undefeated women’s bantamweight champion is contemplating retirement sooner rather than later. According to Fox Sports , Rousey, who just recently turned 28-years-old, assuredly will retire in her 30s.

Ronda Rousey is training for a title defense against the also undefeated Holly Holm . Their bout will be the main event at UFC 193. Her fight with Holm will not be her last, but she knows that she will not be fighting much longer. There is a budding acting career that she wants to take advantage of while she can.

Being on the big screen requires a huge commitment of time. Rousey’s training schedule limits her acting opportunities. She has attributed herself fairly well with her brief screen time.

How much longer will Ronda Rousey continue to fight knowing that Hollywood is calling her name?

She cites that she does not want to fight after she turns 30. Ronda Rousey sees her current accomplishments, as well as a bright future ahead. She took a moment to mention that she reassesses every fight after the fact.

“I kind of reassess after every fight, but I think it’s good for people to know that I’m not going to be around forever either. I’m going to beat Holly and I’m going to reassess. I’m not retiring after Holly, it’s not going to be that soon, but I’m getting up there.”

Rousey quickly reminds everyone that her fighting career did not begin with the UFC. It started much earlier.

“I haven’t just been doing MMA the last five years. I’ve been fighting since I was 11. There’s going to be a point where I’m ready to move on with my life and I’d rather plan for it instead of fall into it like I did after the Olympics. You better buy every, single pay-per-view because that might be my last one.”

Ronda Rousey is one of the current faces of the UFC. She has a helping hand in just how big the UFC has become in recent years.

It first started in 2012, when ESPN reported that she would become the first woman to sign with the UFC, and nobody knew what to expect. Rousey has proven to be a great business decision for the UFC and UFC President Dana White ever since. One dominant victory after another, she has effectively brought in a new audience wondering who will be the next victim. Rousey’s mark on the company will be left whenever she retires. She has opposition looking to challenge her, and fighters, like Paige VanZant , who are striving to make the same impact she has.

VanZant, the strawweight contender, gets her chance to shine at tonight’s UFC 191 PPV card. If it were not for Ronda Rousey’s rise, VanZant’s chance may not have come.

Fighters like Paige VanZant, Holly Holm, and the up-and-coming Julianna Pena will make sure the UFC women’s divisions are in good hands.

The show will go on. And there is another big stage that wants Ronda Rousey. Catch her in the UFC while you can. You do not have many more opportunities to watch her dominance.
