Ronda Rousey just did something that the world has been waiting for ever since her loss to Holly Holm–publicly acknowledge her defeat. On last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live, Rousey took the chance during her opening monologue to congratulate Holly on the win.

“I just wanted to take a minute to sincerely congratulate her,” she said, drawing applause. However, E! Online reports that Ronda quickly quieted the crowd right after she said it.

“And all those who are worried I’m not ready to host the show because I like, have brain damage, relax. I’m good. Besides, everything I need is on cue cards,” she continued.

Entertainment Weekly reports Rousey has a few movie appearances coming up, including an adaption of her own autobiography. She’s also signed on to star in a remake of Road House and a film with Tina Fey.

She already starred in last year’s Furious 7, and was also featured in The Expendables 3, thanks to her rising star power. Despite her popularity, the fact remains that she got beaten by Holly Holm a few months ago and fans have been desperately waiting to hear anything about a possible rematch ever since.

For now, fans will have to settle for her appearance on SNL, which came with its batch of hilarious bits. Her monologue quickly turned funny. Taran Killam and Beck Bennett acted like commentators for her opening bit.

Kenan Thompson then appeared as Rousey’s coach shortly after, telling her “well you gotta start throwing out some applause lines, you know, stuff they’re really going to cheer for.”

After that Rousey came back to pump up the crowd before rolling into the meat of the show.

The first sketch was a rip of Sarah Palin’s endorsement of Donald Trump. Tina Fey returned to portray her favorite political character, since Palin has suddenly gotten popular yet again.

“I wanted to take a break from my full-time career of writing things on Facebook to fly down here and lend my support to the next President of the United States, Donald Trump,” Tina said.

The show kept rolling after that with a bit about the Screen Guild Awards, where SNL cast made fun of the #OscarsSoWhite movement. In the bit, white actors continuously kept winning awards over their black co-stars, even when their roles in the film were menial.

One of the best sketches of the night came in the form of a digital short. In the bit, Ronda Rousey plays a new student who gets pranked by a few girls. After they taunt her, Rousey proceeds to beat them all up.

Overall, the show was a funny one, and Rousey got to show off her acting chops that she’s been polishing for the past two years. When asked about whether hosting an episode of SNL was on her bucket list, Ronda responded, saying “No, it was never on my bucket list. It fell into the bucket.”

“It was one of those things that I never dared to hope for.”

Rousey says that the decision to host SNL was one of the first things that she heard about after her loss to Holly Holm. “I found out right after the fight, it was the first thing that I was thinking of doing besides eating, drinking, and crying.”

Overall, Rousey did a great job during her stint on the show. She got to share a few laughs, address her loss to Holly Holm, and get her mind off of UFC for a little while.
