Twilight star Robert Pattinson is venturing away from his acting career long enough to take on a music gig. According to reports the British actor is recording some tracks for an upcoming album.
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times Pattinson revealed:
“Music is my backup plan if acting fails. I don’t want to put all my eggs in one basket.”
Pattinson will begin recording his album in the next few weeks and according to a snoop who spoke with Us Weekly Pattinson will play guitar and the album will feature a bluesy sound.
According to another source:
“The album Rob will make will be guitar-based and drums, very organic-sounding, nothing pop.”
It’s not the first time Robert Pattinson has tackled the world of music, he contributed the songs “Never Think” and “Let Me Sign” to the Twilight soundtrack.
