It’s official! Despite legal battles with the Kardashian clan, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have set a wedding date. Will they follow through with the plans and exchange vows?

According to Us Magazine, Chyna filed documents to change her name to Angela Renee Kardashian. Unfortunately, the Kardashian sisters don’t want her to take on their namesake because they believe she’s only doing it to profit off their brand.

While Rob’s sisters are trying their best to stop Chyna, her attorney, Walter Mosley, just revealed that Chyna and Rob are moving forward with their plans to wed.

“They’re getting married! [And] there’s a date,” Mosley shared, adding that he could not reveal the exact date of the ceremony. “They are planning on getting married next summer but haven’t planned anything else. They want to work it out with E! for another season of the show first.”

With a wedding just around the corner, Celeb Buzz reports the Kardashian sisters believe Chyna’s name change will inflict “irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill.” That being said, sources close to the situation revealed that the legal battle is standard procedure and the Kardashians hope to resolve the matter amicably.

“Chyna filing and using their last name takes some time and discussion,” a source shared. “They are hoping to resolve it amicably, the girls, because they do love Chyna. The girls are just protecting their interests because that is their brand. It’s a complicated business issue.”

The Kardashian sisters do not want Blac Chyna to capitalize on their name.

One obstacle standing in the way of a resolution is the fact that Chyna’s lawyers have not responded to the negotiations. For now, there is a possibility that the Kardashians aren’t even aware of the trademark issue.

“Their trademark attorneys automatically oppose anyone trying to trademark ‘Kardashian,” an inside source revealed. “I doubt the girls were even aware. Everyone loves each other. It’s just business.”

Indeed, none of the Kardashian sisters have commented on the matter involving their future sister-in-law. Chyna’s frequently outspoken mom, Tokyo Toni, however, recently expressed her support on social media.

“Blacchyna has my support 110% no matter what! You can’t you just can’t stop what God has plans for,” she stated. “PS People need to relax it’s enough shine money TV airtime play selfie sticks and camera footage for everyone! Sharing is caring but hold up didn’t they watch Mr. Rogers neighborhood! She’s grown, but I am still her momma and I will go all the way in for mine.”

Chyna and Rob Kardashian announced their engagement earlier this year. The couple also welcomed their first child into the world, Dream Kardashian, and launched their very own reality series, Rob & Chyna.

Speaking of their new child, the Mirror is reporting that Kylie Jenner just shared a cute video with Dream on Snapchat. Kylie feuded with Chyna while dating her former lover, Tyga. Based on the video, it looks like Kylie and Chyna have resolved their differences.

The images show Kylie holding Dream while sporting a white tank top. The two appear more than comfortable together, and Kylie couldn’t help but gush about the newest member of the Kardashian clan.

Meanwhile, it isn’t clear if all the drama between Rob and Chyna will play out in front of the cameras. Considering how the couple is constantly filming, between Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Rob & Chyna, there is a good chance that fans will learn more in future seasons.

Until then, the battle over the Kardashians trademark name will likely continue in the coming months. Hopefully, the two families can reach an agreement in the near future so that Rob and Chyna can get on with their lives together.
