Rita Ora Admitted She Went Commando In Daring Dress At The Billboard Music Awards

Pop star Rita Ora left little to the imagination at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards Sunday night with the daring white dress she wore. According to Just Jared , the dress Ora donned is a custom made Fausto Puglisi. Rita’s gown had slits up the side so high it was obvious she was not wearing undergarments.
Posing on the red carpet at the awards, which were held in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Rita confessed to E! News anchor Giuliana Rancic that she did indeed go commando. She told Rancic she was hoping to avoid an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction and admitted she felt “a little bit naked.”

Ora was seen holding her dress down to keep it from flying open in the strong breeze. Rita’s gown also had cutouts at her abdomen and sides along with large gold Greco-Roman style sun embellishments, which according to the Daily Mail, is the symbol of Fausto Puglisi’s brand.
While Rita wasn’t nominated for an award, the British singer/songwriter was a presenter for the Top Hot 100 Song alongside hip-hop legend and 10-time Billboard Music Award winner 50 Cent. Ora took a huge risk with her wardrobe choice, especially going as a presenter, and was just a step away from a malfunction. She appeared to have the situation handled, however, with a beaming smile.

Many touted Rita Ora as one of the fashion icons of the night, including Hollywood Life, the Daily Mail , and Perez Hilton . Hollywood Life called Rita a “modern Marilyn Monroe” with her crimson lips and retro blonde waves, writing that they loved her look. Hilton wrote Ora mixed “old-school Hollywood glamour” with sex appeal.
However, not everyone thought Ora’s dress was white hot. She made it to the “Worst Dressed” list on E! Online, who described Rita’s outfit as falling “flat” and “awkward.”
Rita Ora has also taken some heat online lately for a hug she gave Jay Z at the 2015 Met Gala that had Beyonce fans, also known as the “Beyhive,” up in arms. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the photo of the hug went viral and the Beyhive flooded Rita’s Instagram with bee emojis.
