Rihanna ‘ANTI’ Rumors: Travis Scott Delays Album, Rihanna To Perform With Coldplay At Super Bowl 50?

Rumors have been swirling about the possible release of Rihanna’s new album, ANTI. The rumors are even driving some of the people closest to RiRi a little crazy.

It all began when Rihanna’s songwriter, Glass John, took to Twitter to rant about her eighth studio album and her rumored boyfriend, Travis Scott. John claims that Scott is to blame for the constant delays and changes to Rihanna’s upcoming album, ANTI. According to him, the album was set for release on November 6, and then on Christmas, but Scott wasn’t pleased with the final album. John then tweeted that Scott has had a strong influence on the album’s rehashed new sound and its release date, claiming that Scott wants Rihanna to drop a “trap hood ghetto album.”

Now, Travis Scott has responded to Glass John’s claim. He took to his Snapchat to share a photo of one of the many reports about Rihanna’s mysterious ANTI album. He also included the caption “Don’t believe this s**t” with a disappointed emoji next to it.

This isn’t the first time that Rihanna has been rumored to scrap her album for an entirely different sound. Over the summer, a press release from Chileleaked the details of the singer’s highly-anticipated new album.

“Rihanna comes to our country to promote his eighth album, tentatively unpublished and ‘R8,’ which should go on sale this year and which has generated high expectations and good reviews thanks to three promotional singles would be called ‘American Oxygen,’ ‘B**ch Better Have My Money’ and ‘FourFiveSeconds,’ the latter in collaboration with Kanye West and Sir Paul McCartney.”

And according to UrbanIslandz , Rihanna scrapped the original sound of her new album so that she could create some dance hits that will do well on the charts. She’s been rumored to work with Mavado, Popcaan, and Vybz Kartel. Sources close to the performer claim that RiRi’s management has reached out both Popcaan and his mentor, Vybz Kartel.

“I know for sure that [Rihanna’s] people have reached out to Popcaan and Vybz Kartel people to record some music, and I’ve been told that she might be flying down to Geejam studio during the summer.”

In addition, Rihanna has reached out to a large number of dancehall artists such as Busy Signal and Movado.

“Maybe they are just vetting to see which dancehall artists she wants to work with or maybe she wants to record more than one dancehall flavored singles.”

Then it’s been reported that RiRi isn’t set on releasing ANTI until she’s completely satisfied with it. Even Sia recently revealed to BBC News that the “BBHMM” singer is still picking tracks for her new album.

The singer’s also been teasing her upcoming album on her Anti Diary interactive website, which was created in a special marketing campaign with Samsung. Bad Gal RiRi first announced in 2014 that she’s working on her eighth album, which she revealed in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily . She said that she would release the album some time in 2015, but the singer is known to drop an album every year in November like clockwork.

Rihanna also started the hashtag #R8 by tweeting: “Any news about #R8 will be delivered directly from me!!!!” Since then, fans have been speculating R8’s (now called ANTI ) new sound and its release date. But no official release date has been set yet, and there isn’t even an official track list. But it should be dropping soon, since Rihanna’s ANTI world tour is set to kick off in February. How could you have a world tour with no album?

Now there’s a new ANTI-related rumor swirling that Coldplaymay perform with both Beyoncé and Rihanna at the Super Bowl 50. Looks like next year’s Super Bowl halftime show got a little more interesting. Reports claim that the band has been in talks to perform with both sexy ladiesin order to attract buzz and capture people’s attention.

“Beyonce and Rihanna are both keen to join in the high-profile ceremony. [They] will add just the spark needed to make it an amazing and unforgettable show.”

It’s been rumored that Rihanna will perform her 2012 Coldplay duet, “Princess of China,” while Bey will provide her vocals to the Head Full of Dreams collaboration for “Hymn For the Weekend.”

But instead of dropping her new album, RiRi has been seen flaunting her incredible bikini body while vacationing in her native island of Barbados. Maybe working tirelessly on her highly anticipated studio album has finally pooped her out.

Just to let you know, Rihanna’s last album, UnApologetic, was released in 2012. ANTI is becoming just as mysterious as her much forgotten about project, Dark Angels.
