The much awaited Rift patch 1.3 experienced several hours of unexpected delays this morning due to issues with the update.
According to a spokesman for Trion,
“Bad patch data was removed from the patch servers and reverted to the previous build while the issues were corrected.”
After several hours the update process finally began at 11:30 am PST and players are now beginning to install the nearly one gigabyte file.
Players are chomping at the bit to try all the promised new content in the Waves Of Madness update and one can only hope we will not see 2 million devoted Rift players going mad with sheer frustration.
