Former talk show host and current Dancing with the Stars contestant Ricki Lake managed to suffer an injury this week before competition even began.
Lake bruised her foot during practice and later Tweeted about how the situation was blown out of proportion:
“Not sure how my bruise turned into a medic showing up? I’m fine!!”
Speaking to TMZ an insider revealed that Ricki Lake is actually one of the better dancers for this seasons celebrity dancing competition and apparently her injury isn’t all that bad, she’s still one of the early favorites.
Speaking to TMZ she said:
“I injured myself yesterday by hitting my heel into my shin … I’m fine.”
So there you have it, if Ricki Lake gets knocked out early she can’t blame it on her injury.
