If you are in the market for a Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone, RadioShack starting on Sunday will provide buyers with a $50 Google Play credit on top of its already discounted device pricing.

The company is already offering the top-selling Samsung device for $100 with the activation of a two-year contract.

Customers who use AT&T Wireless must purchase the Galaxy S III in-store in order to receive the $50 Google Play credit. Customers must also sign a new or renewed two-year contract.

Sprint Wireless and Verizon Wireless customers will be able to purchase the S III both in-store and online while receiving the $50 credit.

Sweetening the pot is RadioShack’s $10 back offer for the holiday seasons. RadioShack is providing customers with $10 back for every $50 spent in-store or online through the holiday’s.

If you plan to become a Sprint customer, you can use Sprint’s own promotion to pick up the Samsung Galaxy S III for just $50. Existing customers are being offered the same Galaxy smartphone upgrade for $100.

Samsung has continued its aggressive push against Apple ever since the iPhone 5 and iOS 6 were released. Several survey’s found that device sales for the Samsung Galaxy S III actually increased after Apple’s newest smartphone failed to impress buyers who wanted more new options including NFC technology and better mapping software.

Smartphone prices continue to fall as tech company’s continue to woo customers and wireless carriers continue to offer deep discounts with two-year contracts. The question now becomes which company’s can push down pricing the most without losing profitability.
