Donald Trump was met with a barrage of questions over the Epstein emails that have surfaced. The U.S. President repeatedly made it clear that he severed ties with Epstein long ago. But Jeffrey Epstein’s scandalous case always puts him under scrutiny, and his recent outburst of words just raised eyebrows. The POTUS was halted by several reporters on November 14, right when he stepped on board Air Force One, as he was all set to depart for Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

Among other questions, Trump ended up silencing a journalist who brought up the matter of Epstein files yet again. With the Congress forcing the government to release all documents related to the disgraced financier, the 79-year-old appeared visibly irritated.

To begin with, one of the reporters asked Trump about Epstein’s claims that the former knew about the girls being abused by the offender. Responding, the President said, “I know nothing about that. They would have announced that a long time ago. Jeffrey Epstein and I had a very bad relationship for many years.”

Right after this, a Bloomberg reporter, off camera, again asked Trump whether he had found anything incriminating in the emails. Skipping any reply, Donald Trump just pointed a finger at the female reporter’s face and attempted to silence her with the words “Quiet. Quiet, piggy.”

This has not been the first time that Donald Trump has behaved brashly with women, especially reporters at work. Some of his past track records include instances of derogatory comments directed at women, including political rivals and journalists.

Previously, the President became a subject of hatred after his misogynistic response to a female journalist. Well, during a press briefing inside White House, a female reporter had asked Donald Trump, “As China defends its presence in Latin America, what role do you see for the US?”

Trump first ignored the question, then turned to Vice President JD Vance. Speaking to him, Donald said, “I just like to watch her talk.” Later, when the reporter finished her question, Trump again addressed her personally and remarked, “Good job. Thank you, darling.”

Over the pressing issue of the Epstein files, Donald Trump recently addressed the matter in a very different way inside the Oval Office. The President blamed the opposition for showing excessive concern about the Epstein case. He accused them of not acknowledging the successes he had recorded in America.

He said, “I believe that… some of the people mentioned are being looked at very seriously for their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. But they were with him all the time. I wasn’t. I wasn’t at all. What I don’t want is for Epstein to distract from the great success of the Republican Party.”

Although Donald Trump has not accepted having connections with Jeffrey Epstein, the latter has claimed otherwise in his controversial emails dating back to 2019. The offender alleged that POTUS had spent hours with one of the women hired by Epstein and that the former knew very well about what happened behind closed doors. The disgraced financier had written “of course [Trump] knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop.”

In defense, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt dismissed all such chatter. She tagged it as a politically driven smear attack against Donald Trump. In her statement, Leavitt said, “These stories are nothing more than bad-faith efforts to distract from President Trump’s historic accomplishments, and any American with common sense sees right through this hoax.”
