Ya, ya, the name alone will probably send scads of you into fits of snickering but this is some serious stuff folks. This isn’t just some knock off or parody site you know, this is all about the serious business of making adult entertainment items. After all why should Kickstarter have all the fun.
Now that the snickering has stopped (at least until I type in Offbeatr again) this project is very similar to the whole Kickstarter idea wit hthe idea of being a legitimate platform for the adult entertainment industry.
Projects in Offbeatr get their own project page and like Kickstarter people can pledge money to the projects and if the project gets the funding within the specified time period then the users will be charged the amount of their pledge.
Offbeatr is a project from Extra Lunch Money (NSFW) and while CEO Ben Tao admits that there is not really anything original about his idea he also says that there is nothing like this for the adult industry, hence the creation of Offbeatr.
