Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos might’ve gotten their happily ever after, but netizens aren’t happy about how they got there. The backlash about the couple’s relationship has been reignited following their multi-million dollar wedding.
Lauren and Jeff got married on June 27 in Venice in a ceremony that reportedly cost $50 million. From Venetians carrying out protests to the netizens criticizing the couple’s relationship, the ceremony was surrounded by quite the commotion.
Several people took to the internet to dig up the couple’s past before their wedding. With one claiming that both of them are just as “disgusting” and “deserve each other.” The comment came with a reference to the fact that Jeff and Lauren were married to other people while they met.
A video that detailed the past relationships of Lauren Sánchez has also been catching traction. The American journalist has been engaged 4 times in her life. Lauren met sportcaster Rory Markas when she was in college.
The couple went on to date when Sánchez interned at KCOP-TV. The two got engaged soon after and split after. She then started seeing athlete Anthony Miller in 1996.

The couple got engaged while they dated and decided to part ways in 2002. “I kind of gave her [the ring] because she bugged me about getting married. She kept it. I didn’t say anything,” Miller told the Daily Mail in a 2019 interview.
She went on to date Tony Gonzalez whom she shares her son, Nico Gonzalez. Lauren dated and got engaged to actor Henry Simmons after her split with Gonzalez. The two split and decided to go their separate ways in 2004. Sánchez then met Patrick Whitesell, whom she married in 2005.
The exes share two children, Ella and Evan, from their marriage. The two decided to go their own ways in 2019 after the Bezos-Sánchez affair came to light. Patric, who is now married to Pia Miller, seems to have decided to let bygones be bygones, according to various reports. The same could not be said about netizens who are taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) to taunt Lauren Sánchez. “Both of them are disgusting, and they deserve each other,” one user wrote.
