Rapper/actor 50 Cent shared stunning pictures on Twitter , chronicling his dramatic weight loss for a role as a center patient in the upcoming film “Things Fall Apart.”
50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) plays a college football player diagnosed with cancer in “Things Fall Apart.” The film, slated for a 2011 release, also stars Ray Liotta as a doctor who treats Fitty’s character. The rapper is said to have plummeted from 214 lbs to 160 lbs in just nine weeks, using a liquid diet and three hour daily treadmill workouts to achieve the emaciated look seen in the pics. Of the rapid weight loss, 50 Cent says :
“I was starving,” he’s quoted as saying on his Web page. “But I will be back in shape in no time.”
