It looks like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and Nintendogs + Cats could be launch titles for the Nintendo 3DS. Steel Diver and (far more excitingly for me) Pilotwings Resort may also be joining them come 3DS launch day.
We know all this because Go Nintendo posted this page from Nintendo’s annual fiscal report, revealing a ‘Spring 2011’ date for the aforementioned games. And hey, Spring 2011 is roughly when the 3DS comes out! Hopefully it will rescue Nintendo’s uncharacteristically crappy financial results .
Sadly, some other big 3DS releases from the Nintendo stable are looking further away. That old stallion Star Fox 64 3D is ‘TBA’, as are Mario Kart and Animal Crossing . Young colt Kid Icarus: Uprising is listed as ‘2011’.
The Nintendo 3DS takes off in Japan on February 26, 2011 , before making it to North America and Europe a month later.
